Michelle and I are thinking of moving. When we get to our new place, I want to start to lay out the ground work for home automation, and get as much set up as possible. The end goal seems simple enough. I want automatic context based lighting in the living room. There’s just one little problem: all our “smart” TV technology is actually really dumb.

So recently, I wrote about the idea of using the Workflow app for iOS to help automate taking my blog posts, and getting them ready for Working Copy. There was also mention of the idea of creating a “reverse workflow” - one where I start with the post, and then add in all the metadata later. Well, I did it. It’s crazy and awesome at the same time.

Well, it was about time. I’ve decided to make a new website, this time deployed with the absolutely lovely Hugo. I’ll write about what it took to bring this online… eventually.
